What type of events have you covered in the past?
We absolutely love filming dance and it's what we spend most of our time doing. However, we have captured other events such as concerts, gigs, and even weddings! If you've got something coming up that you'd like to remember forever, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

How many cameras do you use?
We will never use less than two cameras. Most of the time it will be three and, if it's a big event, we might even have four. We don't want to miss a thing.

Do you capture high quality audio?
Of course. Most of the time we have a word with your technician and arrange to plug our microphone straight into their sound system (you can tell them we have our own XLR to Jack leads). This will pick up any music and also any speech, singing, musical orchestras, or tap dancing if you have microphones on stage. If you don't have a microphone on stage, don't panic! We can put another one of ours there too to capture CD quality sound. And we can even edit out loud coughs from inconsiderate audience members (not our favourite of tasks, but doable).

What are your prices?
Please see our dance show filming page for more info. But, basically, our service allows you to have your show filmed for free and a lot of schools make a little bit of profit too.

Can we design our own DVD case?
Definitely! Just let us know if you intend to do this and we'll send over templates for you. Make sure you have copyright permission for all of the images you're using, including photographs taken from any photographers you've hired.

Can parents film the event on their own cameras/phones?
We ask that they don't. If we've been hired to create a lovely little movie of your event, we want as many members of the audience to enjoy the final product as possible. If they can refrain from flash photography too, that would be great. You don't want anyone to be confused as to why there was a lightning storm happening indoors. If you kindly mention that both are forbidden at the start of the show, most people are very respectful.

I think I'll sell less than 45 DVDs, can you lower your minimum?
We can't lower the minimum (it's our absolute minimum to make sure all costs are covered), but there might be something we can arrange. Contact us through the Contact Form anyway and we'll see what we do.

What is the turnaround time?
We typically give ourselves two months maximum. However, if you have a specific deadline in mind e.g. end of term, please let us know at the time of booking. We'll see what we can do! Getting orders in early, approving DVD content and artwork promptly, and sending over any information we need e.g. the event programme asap, will all speed up the turnaround time.

Do your DVDs have menus and scene selection?
Yes! We design menus to match the branding of the show. If you'd like to see an example, send us an email with your address and we'll post out a DVD or two.
